Our automatic guided vehicle (AGV) introduced in the article is equipped with a sensor that can determine the position from features such as floor patterns and calculate the route to guide the AGV. Adoption of such a guidance system that “maps the floor surface” is the first attempt by a domestic manufacturer. This guidance method has advantages such as no need to install guides, easy route changes, and high mapping accuracy.
